Nick Moore is a Portfolio Manager specialising in UK Real Estate for LGPS pool, Border to Coast Pensions Partnership. A Chartered Surveyor with more than 30 years’ experience in the sector, Nick has a breadth of expertise and an in depth understanding of the UK real estate market having previously been Head of Real Estate at RO Real Estate and the Langham Estate, he has also held senior roles at Lloyds Bank and M&G.

Simon is a Partner and Head of Responsible Investment at Hymans Robertson.  With over 30 years’ industry experience, Simon has worked with asset owners including pension funds, insurers, and charities on a wide range of investment matters, but now focuses primarily on helping asset owners develop and implement all aspects of their responsible investment strategies.  Simon has led Hymans Robertson’s responsible investment team for the last ten years and is currently Co-Chair of the Investment Consultants Sustainability Working Group.

Dhananjai (“DJ”) was appointed as CIO Residential in April 2024, with oversight of all UK residential strategies.

DJ has a 25-year residential track record covering design, development management, capital raising and deployment, and has investment managed large-scale global client portfolios. He has experience of both direct and indirect global investment strategies for pension funds, sovereign wealth clients, local authorities and insurance companies.

Previously, he was at Royal London Asset Management and CBREIM, with responsibility for strategy and investments in build to rent, affordable housing, senior living, and healthcare sectors. DJ’s early career involved delivering national housing programmes, acquiring surplus public sector land portfolios, housing-led regeneration strategies and mixed-use urban development projects. His career started as an architect designing and delivering low-cost housing communities.

Dugal Hunt is a Senior Portfolio Manager within the Indirect Private Real Estate. Based in London, Dugal is responsible for relationship and portfolio management of clients, helping to set top down strategies for separate account mandates, and selecting suitable investments brought forward by the Regional Investment Teams.
Dugal has been in the property industry since 2000 and has extensive experience investing in real estate funds in the UK and Continental Europe, and has been a member of investment decision making committees opining on investments globally. Dugal joined CBRE Investment Management in March 2004. Prior to this, Dugal was employed by Investment Property Databank
(“IPD”) in the Portfolio Analysis Service team where he was responsible for understanding and analysing portfolio performance statistics for institutional clients of IPD.

Dugal holds a Bachelor’s degree in Geography from the University of Bristol. He is a member of the Investment Property Forum and a Certified Person under the UK FCA’s Senior Managers & Certification Regime (“SMCR”). He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (“CFA”) designation. Dugal is the Chair of the Association of Real Estate Funds (“AREF”) Investors Committee.

Pete has significant experience in providing investment advice to a wide range of both defined benefit and defined contribution pension schemes.
He believes in providing clients with advice which offers clear direction to assist in making a decision. Pete uses his experience to help trustees formulate their investment aims and beliefs. Using these he is experienced in designing and implementing structures which help trustees achieve desired investment returns in a capital efficient and risk controlled manner.
