Richard heads the Governance team outside of London and is based in the Manchester office at Trowers & Hamlins. Richard specialises in working with registered providers (RPs), local authorities, and private sector clients undertaking work in the affordable housing sector. Richard has over 25 years’ experience advising clients in the affordable housing and public sectors. He possesses considerable expertise in housing law and regulation, charity law, governance, mergers, joint ventures and partnering, PFI/PPPs, stock transfers, and group structures.
Richard has led on many of the case studies referred to in our submission – including overseeing the wide-ranging work undertaken for Guinness in relation to it admitting Shepherds Bush HA into the Guinness Partnership.
