Neil is joining the Financial Reporting Council (FRC) as its first Director of Local Audit from the 12th September 2022. Neil will lead FRCs role and activities ahead of ARGA becoming the system lead for local authority financial reporting and audit. Neil has been a Key Audit Partner for local authority external audits since 2009, both as a District Auditor for the Audit Commission until 2012, and thereafter working for EY.
