Alison is the Shared Director of Finance for Watford Borough and Three Rivers Councils leading a well-established shared service arrangement. Whilst both councils have active housing joint ventures and benefit from extensive income generation, they are quite different in density, need and approach to service provision giving a broad experience of the challenges facing Local Government. Alison previously worked for CIPFA as their Head of Standards and Financial Reporting and is currently President of the SDCT.
