Local Gov IMS is a modern, open-source income management system built for councils. It began in 2017 in Barnsley before becoming an MHCLG-funded Local Digital Fund project supported by Dorset. Now a growing number of councils including Burnley and Newcastle Under Lyme have adopted it.
It replaces expensive legacy platforms with a flexible, PCI DSS compliant system covering online, MOTO, cheque, cash and card payments, automated file processing, and real-time reporting with direct access to your data.
